Gents 1960s Smiths Astral Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral wrist watch.

The watch has a Smiths 17 jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The case looks good to the naked eye, if you look closely, there is a little marking and wear to the plate if you look closely.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has a linen style textured finish. There is a little age related marking. Original hands and centre seconds hand with red pointer end.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
