Antique Edwardian Marble Top Washstand

An attractive Edwardian washstand featuring a black marble top over a two-door cupboard base. The tiled back is decorated with a row of floral art nouveau style tiles in green, cream, and brown tones, framed by shaped mahogany supports. Above sits a bevelled mirror set within a carved mahogany surround, adding both elegance and practicality. The cupboard below provides useful storage, and the piece stands on square legs with castors for ease of movement.

CONDITION REPORT:

Good antique condition overall, showing natural signs of age and use. There are some surface marks and scratches consistent with its age, adding character to the piece. The marble top is removable, making it easier to transport. There is minor loss to the edges, which is typical for an antique of this type.
