Antique Edwardian Pine Washstand

Description

An attractive antique Edwardian pine washstand of simple yet elegant design. It features a removable white marble top in clean, good condition. Below the marble are two long drawers above two shorter drawers, all fitted with decorative handles featuring elegant backplates. The piece is supported by turned legs with side stretchers and castors. Retains its original towel rails to each side. Overall an attractive piece in solid and sound condition.

In good antique condition throughout, showing signs of age and surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. There is some loss to the marble top, along with evidence of historic repairs, and some loss to the kneehole.
