Antique Edwardian Marble Top Washstand

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming antique Edwardian marble-topped washstand, dating from the early 20th century. The washstand has a particularly attractive warm honey-coloured timber frame, with turned supports, shaped side panels and a decorative back incorporating a floral upholstered panel. The marble top is complemented by the original brass towel rail to one side, while the shaped lower shelf provides useful additional storage.

CONDITION REPORT:

The timber frame has some light age-related wear and marks commensurate with age and use. The marble top is in good overall condition with just a very small nick to the rear left edge. The brass towel rail is original and intact. The frame is solid and sound, with the timber retaining a lovely warm honey tone. Overall, a very good example.
