Gents Smiths Astral wrist watch, box & paperwork.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and the case back is stainless steel, and it is all in beautiful condition. The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a few marks but not overly noticeable to the naked eye.

Also included is the original Smiths Industries guarantee from 1966, and a compliment slip with a note from Smiths Industries.

The watch comes in its original Smiths presentation box.
