Gents 1950s DeRe automatic wrist watch.
The watch has a 25-jewel automatic movement, Durowe 1172, which is working nicely. The 1172 was launched in 1956. The movement is signed Duromat, a brand name registered by Durowe in 1951.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated, there is some rubbing if you look closely. The case back is stainless steel, it is quite pitted.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed DeRe, a brand name owned by Durowe, and it is in its original textured finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (not quickset).
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
