*Fludo Watches is a Swiss brand established in 1934 by Fluvius Boillat. Registered by Fluvius Boillat at Les Breuleux (Switzerland) on June 10 1934. Fluvius’ father, Charles “Paul” Ulric Boillat, already had a Breuleux watch factory, and the trademark registration was completed by Fluvius and his father. Initially, the brand focused on producing watches in Les Breuleux, with exports to Europe, North America, and Asia in the 1950s. The company ceased operations in 1980s. In 2011, Manuel Rodrigues revived Fludo, focusing on Swiss-made automatic and quartz watches, particularly for motorsport enthusiasts. As a result, recognition and brand popularity is today growing fast. The early and rare Fluvius Boillat watches, especially the Chronographs are now very collectible.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A triple calendar chronograph combines a stopwatch function with displays for the day of the week, month, and date. Popularised in the mid-20th century, these mechanical timepieces feature complex multi-complication movements housed within a single wrist watch case.

Mid-century Swiss chronographs typically featured stainless steel or chrome-plated cases, acrylic crystals, and silvered dials. The internal mechanical movements utilised brass plates, steel gears, and rubies as jewel bearings to reduce friction.

Authentic vintage Swiss chronographs feature distinct movement calibre markings, crisp dial typography, and hallmarked or stamped inner case backs. Look for Swiss-made designations near six oclock, correct sub-dial proportioning, and period-appropriate movement architecture like Landeron or Valjoux calibres.

A mid-century chronograph watch functions well as an understated accessory for smart-casual or formal wear. Pair it with tailored jackets, leather accessories matching the strap colour, or crisp shirts to highlight its technical design details.

Service the mechanical movement every three to five years through a professional horologist to replace aged lubricants. Keep the timepiece away from moisture, magnetic fields, and extreme temperatures to protect the internal balance wheel and hairspring.
