Vintage Miramar (Swiss) Moonphase Chronograph with Triple Date. Circa 1950s.

Double Chronograph with Moonphase, Date Pointer, Weekday, Month functions. Vintage special order rose-gold casing in superb condition. Extremely rare in this combination of movement functions, casing and condition.

Brand: Miramar* - Chronographe Suisse

Movement, 17 Jewels: Mechanical Hand-Wound.

Caliber: Landeron 181

Case: Gold-Plated (Rose-Gold)

Condition: Like new. Original superb (complicated) movement. All functions fully working with chronograph reset(s) to zero. Original untouched dial. The rose-gold casing/pushers special order when originally purchased. Glass excellent with new generic leather strap.

Case Diameter: 37 mm (without crown)

Strap Width: 18 mm

*Produced in the late 50s, early 60s by Fabrique d'Horlogerie Miramar / Miramar SA, Geneve and Lancy, Switzerland - Company First Registered at the chamber of commerce: 20.2.1950.

*The Landeron 181 features a manual-wind chronograph with a 60-second counter, as well as a 30/45-minute counter that is cam switched. Other functions include sub seconds, a tag function with a pusher at 10 o'clock, a date hand with a pusher at 9 o'clock, a month function with a pusher at 2:30 o'clock, and a moon phase function with a pusher at 8 o'clock.
