A wonderful rustic antique Bakshaish carpet from the early 20th century, with large leaf designs and rustic variations of browns with muted pinks and darker blue tones, this is a tribal and ancient looking carpet. In good order and with a soft wool pile.Bakshaish carpets were woven in large and smaller sizes and often with bold geometric designs, and vivid colours.
