Description

An antique Georgian mahogany bureau. The mahogany bureau has a fall front that opens to reveal a fitted interior with eight pigeon holes and six small drawers and a writing surface. The bureau has an arrangement of four long, graduating drawers, each with decorative handles. The bureau is raised on bracket feet with a shaped apron to the front and sides.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with some signs of age and use. There is surface wear throughout, including age-related marks and scratches. The front shows some splitting, along with a historic repair around the keyhole. The writing surface has various marks and stains, consistent with age and previous use.
