Great quality mahogany desk with twin pedestals on plinths and slide out writing surface inset with three tooled leather sections The centre section is hinged to provide a sloped working section and the right section has an inset area with one original ink bottle The interior is well fitted with original drawers The original lock has a working key The graded drawers below are all mahogany lined and run well All the knobs are present and in excellent condition. Some marks to the leather surface and the odd repair but fully usable with a charming patina. The desk retains its original patinated surface and has a few old marks and repairs commensurate with its former life in a barristers office
