Antique Country House Regency Rosewood Chiffonier with distressed mirror and surviving from c1820.
Standing on plinth base with two cupboard doors with original distressed silk lining which open to reveal shelving.
Above is a concealed drawer of serpentine form.
The top is in good condition having achieved a most wonderful patina over the years , above is a foliate decorative frame which surrounds the most gorgeous original mercury plate mirror which is heavily distressed and foxed.
There is no back to the mirror.
Original ageing and Patina is present throughout this item , structurally sound , small loss to front carving.
