Tall 19th Century Gillows Antique Maple Chest of Drawers – Stamped

A superb, high quality English country house tall antique chest of drawers by Gillows of Lancaster. Featuring three short drawers over two medium drawers with three larger drawers underneath. They graduate in size, getting deeper towards the bottom, all eight drawers run smoothly with fine mahogany linings and all have the original turned, knob handles. Excellent condition, beautifully made in Bird’s Eye Maple that is a wonderful, original colour. Stamped Gillows of Lancaster, this larger scale antique chest of drawers stands on a square plinth and has a nicely moulded top. A lovely simple design, quite timeless.
