The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. The hinged case back has surface marking and a little unevenness.

The glass lens has light surface marking although very acceptable.
The white enamel dial has a couple of minor marks but nothing too noticeable at all. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes on a chunky single chain, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Also included is a fob in the form of an English token, inspired by the token made in Birmingham by John Cook & Sons in the 19th Century for the East African trade in the mid 1800s.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
