The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Art Deco Pocket Watch to the 1930s.
The watch has a good quality 17-jewel (2 adjustments) stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Crest.
The name Crest was used for Tavannes watches sold by the People’s Jewellers in Canada.

The watch measures 45mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and handsomely decorated on the sides and the back. There is a cartouche to the back with the original owner’s initials, AC. The inside of the case back is signed with the Crest name.

The glass lens is in super condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. It is all in super condition.
The watch comes with its original chain, 34cm long, and also the original accompanying engraved penknife. This is the only example we have ever seen with its original penknife.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
