Description

Central persia, circa 1910.

Renowned for their fine velvety wool piles is isfahan weaving with classic medallion and floral motifs.

The light raspberry red coloured band running through the centre is abrash and isn't faded. All part of its weave and look.

Even pile with all ends and sides secured. Hand washed & de-dusted.

7 foot 6 inches by 4 foot 7 inches. 228cm X 140cm. At widest points. Velvety wool pile hand knotted onto cotton foundations with wefts as is usual with isfahan weavings dyed light blue.

Cheaply priced only £350 gbp.
