This early 19th-century English fireplace fender originates from the Regency period and follows a neoclassical design. The object combines polished steel and gilt bronze, presenting a contrasting palette of silver and gold tones across its structure. A low curved base supports the construction, edged with a beaded trim and detailed with gilt bronze swags running along the front gallery.
