The desk top has a central sloped section, flanked by flat surfaces, each fitted with dark green leather skivers over three drawers, with the middle one serving as a dummy. The sloped section lifts and is held in place by a wooden restrictor, revealing a fitted interior with a small drawer and four pigeonholes. The desk is supported by twin pedestals, each containing three graduating drawers on either side of a large kneehole, with each drawer fitted with brass drop handles. It stands on a moulded plinth base, set on castors for mobility.
