Description

An exceptional 17th-century English oak geometric chest of drawers, circa 1680.

A wonderful warm rich patina. It features brass pear drop handles, intricate geometric mouldings on the drawer fronts, and robust oak panelled sides with thick oak drawer linings. Superb construction .

The back of the chest preserves its original oak boards, secured with handmade nails, further attesting to its authenticity and quality.

Dimensions: 39.5 inches width x 38 inches height x 21.5 inches depth.

In very good antique condition, with expected signs of age and use.
