Quality 18th Century Mahogany Antique Georgian Desk
This Quality 18th Century Mahogany Antique Georgian Desk dates from ca. 1770 and is of the knee hole design with wonderful charm and character. It has a beautifully figured moulded top above a long frieze drawer, small concealed drawer and central cupboard with key and working lock. Each pedestal has three graduating cock-beaded, Oak lined drawers all with decorative pierced brass handles. This fine Georgian desk stands on shaped Ogee bracket feet and the Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
