A beautiful antique Heriz runner, woven circa 1920. The runner features a geometrical design on a deep indigo field surrounded by a terracotta border. A much sought after narrow size and some great secondary colours including a funky green. There is a charming kink in the corner where the weaver decided they wanted a slightly wider runner than when they started (see photos).
Size: 2.74m x 0.67m (9ft x 2ft 2in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
