The shaped and curved protective wire mesh is set within an intricately detailed cast brass frame with beautiful motifs comprising of foliate, ruffles, flowerheads, scrolling acanthus leaves, s and c scroll detail throughout, surmounted with an elegant pierced carrying handle with a further arrangement of ruffles, trailing foliate and c-scroll detail. The wire mesh itself is adorned to the central reserve with further decorative brass motifs comprising of a stunning arrangement of foliate, flowerheads, scrolls and ruffles, supported on elegant, pierced out-scrolling trestle foot.
