Early 19th century Grand Tour patinated bronze bust of Aesculapis (Asklepios) the Greek god of medicine and healing, after the antique original full length Roman marble statue in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Naples. Good quality cabinet bust presented on its original Sienna marble slab base. Italy, circa 1830.
