First Quarter 20th Century.

A superb west anatolian village woven carpet of traditional design incorporating elements from earlier 15th century holbein carpets.

The ground colour is brick red.

Even pile with all ends and sides secure.

size is 10 foot 7 inches by 6 foot 7 inches. 323cm x 200cm. At widest points. All woollen construction with salmon coloured weft threads.
