This is a beautiful antique Baluch prayer carpet from West Afghanistan with very fine detail which dates from the late 19th century. It has a narrow deep indigo field beneath multiple mihrabs enclosed by leaf and calyx borders and it features some very attractive peachy orange shades. The carpet is in excellent condition and measures 132 cms by 89 cms.
