Early C19th Regency mahogany concave-front knee-hole dressing table or washstand.
Having a shaped three-quarter gallery upstand back above a frieze drawer and pedestals . Scrolling carved spandrel corners below the central concave-shaped frieze drawer and knee-hole , with stepped-out rounded-corner carved ‘rope-twist’ or spiral uprights to the sides of the pedestals .
All drawers fitted with original turned mahogany knob-pulls , brass locks and escutcheons , raised on carved and turned feet.
In fresh-to-market condition with the original polish and surface , having a rich colour and patina to the well-chosen mahogany .
