1930’s Heals of London Oak Bureau Bookcase

A very original English oak bureau bookcase by Heals in the early thirties. Smaller proportions so ideal for a compact room, in super condition and in the original finish. The top glazed bookcase part sits securely on the bureau base, comes apart for ease of movement. To the Heals bureau base are two long drawers, both with the original Heals oak turned handles, they each run smoothly. Inside the writing bureau interior is all fitted, this is original, comes with working locks and key. Stands well on square legs that are joined by a H stretcher. We don’t often have this Heals bureau bookcase model into stock.
