A Pair of 19th Century Tole Vases.
Each vase of Campana shape, decorated on a white ground, with bucolic scene of figures wandering in a woodland to one side of the vase. to the other side of the vase is decoration of sprigs and wild roses. The vases on ringed and concave socles, finished with a gilt foot rim, likewise the vases with pairs of handles in the form of gilt gathered leaves. The vases standing on green stepped pedestals with concave and ogee caps and plinth bases. The pedestals edged in gilt, surrounding further gilt decoration of flowers and leaves.
All creating an attractive and decorative set of tole vases.
Date circa 1850.
