Excellent small Japanese Meiji (late 19thC) bronze of an elephant being attacked by tigers. The elephant has ivory tusks. Signed in an oval reserve on the base. Height ca. 14.5cm (5¾in) x 16cm (6¼in) long x 11cm (4½in) wide, weight 1.15kg. Ivory declaration reference YLWVD4K1.
