Description

A stunning antique burr walnut chest on chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

The quality is superb, this is a great size and offers lots of storage space. It has a serpentine front, with a pull out sliding shelf in the middle. There is a lovely dental moulded cornice, the drawers have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints, and this sits on bracket feet. The drawer fronts are cross banded and have high quality brass handles.

We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. The burr walnut grain patterns and colours are gorgeous throughout.

The top lifts right off the base and this comes in two halves for ease of transport.
