They were usually woven in pairs.A good chuval face at some time in its history the ivory plain weave back has been removed, the face is very well drawn with twelve 'Salor' guls and Tekke chuval guls as secondary guls. The extensive use of cochineal dye gives the superb ground colour. The elem is of the small flowering shrub design.Good condition with even wear and medium pile, there are a few spots of wear to the sides and ends, and a small nick out of the top edge.
