Description

An exceptional Arts and Crafts period Donegal carpet designed by Gavin Morton.

This very rare carpet, with its allover design of massive stylised palmettes woven in soft, muted colours on unusual steely grey ground, is offered in excellent condition, full pile, just one or two small repairs, some very minor discolouration and fading. All ends and sides original. A very heavy carpet of unusual, elegant proportions. A piece that should excite the connoisseur Circa 1910.
