THIS QUINCUNCIAL DESIGN IS ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS OF THOSE CONNECTED WITH WESTERN ANATOLIAN RUGS. IT IS A LATER DESCENDANT OF THE MONUMENTAL HOLBEIN RUGS OF THE 15TH CENTURY AND EARLIER.

HAS A BRILLIANT PISTACHIO GREEN GROUND AGAINST THE PRIMARILY SOFT CANDY FLOSS PINK COLOUR WITH THE GROUND FILLED WITH STAR ROSETTES.
