Country House and Eastern Interiors has dated this Persian Heriz Runner Rug to the 1920s.
So named because if you look at them sideways on they resemble crabs as in images 3 to 5.

Has a soft terracotta/apricot and salmon pink colours with a more unusual light pea green to two of the background crabs and middle border.
With waring & gillow label to reverse.
Has been copiously hand bath washed and de-dusted,last images,plenty of images to peruse.

Good overall even pile throughout. Minor fringes,side cords good. Overall a super antique furnishing runner.
Size is 10 foot 2 inches by 3 foot 2 inches. 311cm by 96cm. At widest points. Fringes not measured in size. Lustrous wool pile hand knotted onto cotton foundations.
Weighs 11.4kg. U.k post £25.
