Heals of London 1920’s Oak Bureau Bookcase – Labelled

A good quality, solid antique oak bureau bookcase by Heals of London in the early twenties. Made in two sections, the top glazed bookcase has two clear glazed doors with adjustable oak book shelves inside. The oak bureau base has a fall front, over two short drawers over one long drawers. All the drawers have moulded fronts, run smoothly and complete with all the original, ebonised oak handles. Inside the bureau is fitted with pigeon hole storage and an original, clean leather writing surface. Even comes with working locks and keys, a lovely example in such good condition and the Heals makers label is inset into a top drawer.
