Small Grand Tour Marble Tazza

Attractive petite late 19th century Italian neoclassical style Grand Tour tazza. Rich Marmo Nero marble. Shallow hand turned bowl with central button style finial and lobed ribbed underside. Beautiful simple classical spreading stem and block plinth base which in turn sits on a stepped Sienna marble base, after the antique. Rome, circa 1880.
