Description

Very decorative and super quality 19th century French mahogany and brass mounted commode with its original shaped marble top, circa 1860 and in great condition.

Wonderful colour to the mahogany which contrasts so well with the brass mounts and inlays to the front and the panelled sides, the shaped charcoal grey and white marble top to finish.

Particularly like the proportions of this chest of drawers, being a touch longer than the usual and also standing on these fine turned legs certainly gives this commode some elegance too.

Three full width drawers offering practical storage, but certainly not compromising on style!
