French 18th Century Walnut Louis XV Marble Top Commode

A lovely Louis XV carved walnut commode with a loose marble top, this is a compact size and will provide a splendid storage option for any room.
- 2 over 2 drawers.
- Attractively carved on the drawer fronts and down the front corner edges.
- Loose marble top in shades of grey.
- Shaped skirt.
- Decorative drawer furniture.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is a slight gap at the centre front of the top left drawer where the lock recess has been worked. Characterful signs of old woodworm are visible on the drawer fronts. The marble is in generally good condition, with some shallow surface scratches about 10 cm long on the top. No key is available.
