Description

A Geo III mahogany fall front bureau of two short and three graduated long drawers which are oak lined and retain their original gilded brass swan neck handles. The fall opens to reveal a fitted interior and old baize writing surface. The bureau stands on well shaped ogee bracket feet. Good original colour and patina, the backboards have been replaced at some time and the left hand hinge on the fall has been moved(see photos). The writing height is 79cm. English Circa 1790.
