Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The top has a gorgeous tooled leather surface, there are nine generous drawers with turned mahogany handles. This sits on a plinth base with original casters, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various small marks here and there beneath the polish, the overall colour tone and patina is gorgeous.
