All the drawers have a cock beaded edge, original iron locks and are oak lined. The swan neck brass handles are old but not original but in or close to the original holes. The cupboard has its original iron lock with original working key. The top has a nicely moulded edge with a wide cross banding.
The condition is very good with one or two old repairs as to be expected and the top has been sympathetically re-polished. The desk is a lovely mellow colour.
