1890. It has a rectangular moulded top with tooled leather writing insert above a long drawer over knee hole, flanked by four smaller drawers. They all have the original decorative brass pull handles. This superb Victorian antique desk stands on four beautifully turned legs and has a moulded cross stretcher for added stability. The oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
