There are lovely original brass handles, finely dovetailed drawer joints and all the drawer fronts are cross banded, plus they are graduated in depth & have locks. The front pedestals have grooved & canted corners. The inset leather top has been gold tooled and hand coloured, it has a gorgeous patina.

This desk is also nicely polished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
