There are lovely original brass handles and this sits on bracket feet. The back is solid oak panelled, the drawers have cross banded edges, locks & are very deep. They are solid oak lined and have extremely fine dovetailed joints.
We had the top re-leathered, hand coloured, gold tooled & antiqued. This desk has also been recently polished & is in excellent condition for its age. The writing surface has a generous working area & this desk has a lovely original look & is full of character.
