Description

Antique Regency chiffonier in mahogany, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship, dating from around 1830.

The raised shelf back is supported on slender turned columns above two frieze drawers with brass ring handles, over a pair of panelled cupboard doors opening to a shelved interior.

The doors are flanked by carved columns with stylised leaf decoration, and the chiffonier stands on a moulded base raised on turned feet.

The mahogany displays a stunning flame-figured grain to the door panels and a warm, rich colour, with an attractive aged patina.

Presented in good condition. A very desirable chiffonier sideboard, perfect for a dining room, hallway or living room.
