The velvety pile is impressively soft and shiny after a 100 years of gentle use. The patination is really attractive, although hard to appreciate through the camera. Finely woven and in great condition, this is a beautiful and unusual small rug that would look great in front of the fireplace, in the living room or a bedroom. It's a versatile rug!
