It is of incredibly fine quality, with lots of lovely features.
There are two drawers on one side, the other has a door with built in letter holders inside. The top edge is beautifully carved, the inset leather top has been hand coloured and gold tooled. The base has a nicely designed stretcher and the legs have intricate carving all the way down. The back is also beautifully finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have just had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear and patina beneath the polish here and there.
