Description

Size: 7ft 7in x 4ft 7in (230 x 140cm).

Vintage Persian Bakhtiari village rug with large central medallion with all over floral design.

Circa 1930.

A beautiful village weaving, excellent drawing and good colours. The large central medallion is on an ivory ground filled with small flowers, note the roses in each corner. The border is of a flower and boteh design.

Excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The rug will stand up to heavy domestic use.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
