The rectangular solid mahogany top with fine crossband inlay above crossbanded and finely inlaid frieze. The cylinder with sliding door with exquisite urn and floral inlays and turned brass knobs enclosing a fitted mahogany interior, with drawers and pigeon holes having a green leather gilt and tooled leather writing surface. The drawers veneered in the finest satinwood with ebony banding. The whole supported on square tapering supports with shaped brackets with brass castors, united by an under tier having fine crossband inlay throughout; on brass castors.
