'The Sound of Guns'

W/colour painter and Illustrator particularly of bird subjects . The w/c are of fine quality and usually heightened with body colour, which gives them a striking appearance. He is thought to have been employed at the Royal Worcester Porcelain factory where he was a decorator specialising in Bird designs. The quality and subject matter of his work have made his paintings very collectible.
